On May 3, 2019, Hugh Heron took us on a humourous romp from his Glaswegian roots to his success in the housing market, while celebrating his love of life in Canada, and jokingly acknowledging that his resume would state that he could not hold a job.

Mike Salem, a business partner, was playing golf, when he collapsed and died of a heart attack. Hugh was greatly affected and, in his friend's memory, he initiated the Mikey Network project. Thousands of defibrillators have been placed in public locations, thus saving 39 lives over the past 15 years.
