Granite Club, Toronto
Welcome To The Burns Supper
Maggie McEwan welcomed the guests on behalf of the Robert Burns Club of Toronto and the Scottish Studies Society.
Master Of Ceremonies
Our talented David Campbell provided a steady pace during the evening with a seemingly unending supply of Scottish jokes.
The Selkirk Grace
John McMillan led the gathering in the blessing: "Some hae meat, and canna eat,
And some wad eat that want it;
But we hae meat and we can eat
And sae the Lord be thankit."
Address To The Haggis - Still Shots
If the ceremony required further embellishment, Pipe Major Iain Lang and the 48th Highlanders served the purpose. Most observers, however, would agree that the performance by David Campbell stood in a class by itself! Have you seen the video clip in the Introduction?

Dr. Graeme Morton's delivery covered the broad spectrum of the life of Robert Burns.
The presentation included a unique interspersal of Burns' songs by David Campbell (in the absence of Anthony Cleverton), Virginia Hatfield (soprano) and Eric Robertson (pianist).
